Hal M. Naiman , a Colorado native, began his career in real estate in 1981 where he worked as a part-time leasing agent for Dixon, Inc. a Fort Collins real estate firm while he was working on a Bachelor of Arts degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
After graduation Hal ventured to Clearwater, Florida where he worked for U-Stor on the construction of mini-storage projects for two years. Upon completion of these projects he served as a consultant to the same company where he evaluated the feasibility of the construction of other mini-storage projects in various parts of the country.
In 1985 Hal joined The Sherman Agency, Inc. first to assist in the workout of a failed construction development of a mini-storage retail property. He then leased, managed and assisted in the sale of the same property to Public Storage. Hal later became a leasing and sales broker for the company.
Currently President of The Sherman Agency, Inc., Hal is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Colorado. He has supervised the acquisition, development, leasing, and sale of numerous residential, retail, office, industrial properties, and a few business opportunities throughout the Denver Metro Area and the Front Range.
Hal was the Rocky Mountain representative for Mail Boxes, Etc. now known as the UPS Store, a national retail franchise, for many years. During his time as their representative he helped negotiate leases for the company and successfully placed franchises into numerous new sites in Colorado.
Hal was born and raised in Colorado and is an avid cyclist and skier.
Howard Snyder a native of Colorado, graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado in 1985 with a Business Degree. His emphasis in management was put to good use when he joined The Sherman Agency, Inc. in 1987.
Howard specializes in the management of commercial, industrial, retail, and residential properties. He has successfully overseen the complete rehabilitation of residential, commercial and industrial properties.
As Vice President/Treasurer Howard supervises the operations of all properties managed by The Sherman Agency, Inc. and is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado.
Josh Snyder’s official tenure with The Sherman Agency, Inc. began when he started learning the ropes of the office and properties during the summer of 2010 while on break from the University of Redlands in California. After graduating with his BS in Business Administration he joined the team full-time and is quickly becoming a jack of all trades around the office.
While initially learning the basic principles of successful property management Josh independently worked to become a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado and soon thereafter began lending his charisma to assist in the leasing and sales of the company’s current availabilities.
Currently Josh uses his motivated perspective to learn as many facets of The Sherman Agency, Inc. as well as their vision and values with the hopes that one day may have the knowledge to stand in leadership.
Josh, a Colorado Native, graduated from Cherry Creek High School where his skills earned him a varsity pitcher position on the baseball team. He also pitched for the University of Redlands baseball team for four years.
Bonnie Moritzky who attended Barnes Business College just out of high school focused on retail management and customer service. Her educational background was the perfect precursor when she started in 1986 as a part-time leasing agent. Since then she has worked her way up through the ranks and is now skilled in the day to day operations and management of both multi-family communities and commercial centers. Over the years she has overseen portfolios of up to 800 units and been responsible for the management of properties in a multi-state region.
Since joining The Sherman Agency, Inc. in 2006, Bonnie has paved the road toward profitability by focusing on the renovation of outdated residential units and establishing a rapport with residential and commercial tenants alike.
Bonnie, a Colorado Native, has a passion for interior design and gardening.
Laurie Hodges has been with the Sherman Agency, Inc. since 2002 and has been an integral part in ensuring that as the company grows, the finances are monitored and managed with unprecedented precision. Her past experience as a Licensed Broker and office manager give her a rounded perspective on not just her job, working magic with numbers, but understanding the industry as a whole, and her amazing time and project management skill have aided her in coordinating and then leading the entire staff through two accounting software conversions.
Laurie graduated from Gordon College in Massachusetts with dual bachelor degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. She moved to Colorado in 1993 from Massachusettes and is raising her four children. She has a passion for traveling, baking and gardening. One of Laurie's life philosophy's is to look at all situations as the "glass being half-full" which helps her keep a positive attitude in most of her endeavors.

Angie enjoys baking, dancing, reading and listening to 80's music. Jonathan enjoys writing and fly fishing. They raise their four boys together.
Resident Manager at Applewood Gables TownHomes. Alena Schaeffer became the Applewood Gables TownHomes resident manager in 2007. She ensures that the operation of the Applewood Gables TownHomes runs without a hitch by utilizing her extensive customer service background. Her energy and excitement for managing the property and her rapport with the residents helps make this community the place to live.
On-Site Maintenance Manager at Applewood Gables TownHomes. Steve Sillin has worked as the on-site maintenance manager at the Applewood Gables TownHomes since 2013 but was no stranger to the property or the business of maintenance management when he started. Steve had served as an on-site property manager at Applewood Gables in the mid 2000’s for a short while then owned and operated A Cut Above Maintenance doing miscellaneous maintenance and remodels for The Sherman Agency, Inc. before settling down again at Applewood Gables as on-site maintenance manager in 2013.
Steve’s previous training from the U.S. Navy and his experience working as a mechanic for United Airlines and for a local HVAC union definitely lent to the knowledge base that allows Steve to stay on top of the many different types of maintenance calls he gets while working at the Applewood Gables TownHomes.
